Department: | Ranish |
Location: | Seattle, WA |
The Ranish Group at the Institute for Systems Biology is seeking a highly motivated scientist to conduct research investigating how hematopoietic stem cells differentiate into mature red blood cells. To accomplish this goal, the lab is developing mass spectrometry-based technology to quantify the transcription factor proteome as cells differentiate. The data will be used to model the transcriptional regulatory networks underlying this process. The models will guide future experiments to understand how specific transcription factors drive cell fate decisions. The successful applicant will be expected to design, execute and troubleshoot experiments, and analyze results.
