Postdoctoral Fellow

The Hood-Price Lab at the Institute for Systems Biology seeks highly motivated postdoctoral candidates in the area of biomarker discovery and validation of new study (T1D in collaboration with Prof. Yue Lu at Univ. of Utah) and ongoing study (PTSD as part of PTSD Systems Biology Consortium).  We are employing systems biology approaches combined with innovative microfluidics and nanoengineering to characterize bulk and single extracellular vesicles to discover early biomarkers and better understand the underlying pathophysiology of the disease. An ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in Biology, Systems Biology, Biomedical engineering, or other relevant fields. Candidates should have demonstrated the ability or potential to conduct interdisciplinary research with good communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.

Pay Range:

 

 ISB pays postdoctoral fellows on a scale based upon experience: $65,478 - $91,711 annually
